Jabal Al Hash 1 Day Tour without Overnight
The Jebel Al Hash Mountain is located in the Al Forah area, close to where the Jordanian border intersects the Saudi Arabian border.
This again is a very easy climb for anyone who is inexperienced or who would like a simple hike. We will take you up the east side of the mountain (Um Snenah) Valley, and go through the valley to the top. Our descent follows a different route down the northwest side of the mountain (by Wadi Nuqra). The total climb takes approximately 5 hours.
This is probably the most beautiful mountain in Wadi Rum to scramble on, because as you arrive at the highest point (1700m above sea level) you will see all of the different colours that exist in Wadi Rum.
The best views of Wadi Rum are found on the top of the Jebel Al Hash. The top is reached after some scrambling, but further than that walking is the primary way to get up.
Stunning and great views will appear once you have reached the summit. With the breathtaking panorama we will have lunch and after we will come back at the other side of the mountain. Don't forget a cover against the sun, because there is no shadow around at the summit. If you want a day full easy hike with the best views in Jordan, this is the hike to pick.
Itinerary of the tour to Jabel Al Hash
From Rum village we will drive you by jeep to Jabal Al Hash, located in AL FORAH area, close to the Jordanian-Saudi Arabian border. This mountain is very easy to climb for anyone who is inexperienced or who would like a simple hike. You and your guide will start hiking from the eastern side of the mountain in the Um Snenah Valley and go through the valley to the top. Then we will take you down from the north-western side of the mountain by Wadi Nuqra. In total this hike takes approximately 5 hours. This is probably the most beautiful mountain in Wadi Rum to hike on, because when you arrive at the highest point (1700m above sea level) you will see all the different colours that encapsulate Wadi Rum. After reaching the top, you will desend the mountain and your guide will start cooking your lunch and you can rest for 1 hour. After that you and your guide will walk about 3 hours around the mountain. Finally, we will back to the camp and wait for the sunset.
